Talking Art and Life with Voyage LA
Since then, I graduated from college with a BFA in Photography and worked hard to develop my photo career. Over the last couple of years, I’ve had the amazing luck to work with some incredible, widely-recognized clients and am still working to gradually build my career working with brands and clients I love.

Working as a photographer has definitely had its ups and downs — and I’m sure it will continue to have its ups and downs, as that’s the nature of the industry. My passion has never waned, though, and every day I choose to accept those challenges because I love what I do and I’m incredibly thankful for having the opportunity to make photographs for a living.
— "Art & Life with Erin Marie Miller" | Interview with Voyage LA Magazine, August 2018

I was recently interviewed by Voyage LA Magazine about my career as a photographer, my inspirations, struggles and victories, and life in general. You can read the full interview here.

Julian

A couple of months ago, I was commissioned by Los Angeles model/actor Julian Zambrano to photograph an important transformation — the first cutting of his long, beloved hair in years. We decided to celebrate the moment in an homage to Patrick Demarchelier’s beautiful photographs of Karlie Kloss’s famous haircut.

Recent work for the launch of the new fall line for Peri, one of my favorite eco-friendly lines from Los Angeles based designer Peri Donch.

VOGUE ITALIA

I'm currently in Joshua Tree, California, working on a new photo series. I stopped for coffee early this morning and was excited to learn that one of my images from my recent shoot with model Ariel Thompson is up on Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue. (Makeup by Stephanie Lopez.)

HIGH RUIN

At the end of summer, I was hired by High Ruin to photograph a lifestyle campaign for the launch of their new home decor line, inspired by the Victorian Old West. Their amazingly lovely and inspiring owner, Audrey Richter, rented a gorgeous house in Joshua Tree and we spent an afternoon in the desert creating magic with our absolutely beautiful model, Keziah. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the day. I'll share more soon, because I can't even explain how excited I am to finally be able to share these images with the world.

PRISCILLA FORD FOR LATINA MAGAZINE

Several months ago, I had the pleasure of photographing actress Priscilla Ford for her interview with Latina Magazine. You can read more about Priscilla's projects here.

In February 2014, I rented my first private studio -- a gorgeous daylight studio with cement floors and floor-to-ceiling windows across one wall in a massive industrial warehouse turned studio and exhibition space. I wanted to test out the new space as well as some different lighting techniques, and was excited to when talented model Megan Mockensturm agreed to be my guinea pig. The resulting image ended up being selected by Vogue Italia's editorial staff for PhotoVogue that April.
