More images from my recent shoot with model Austin Carr (Mavrick Models) in Pasadena, earlier this month just before it started raining forever.
I had the chance to take advantage of the unusual gloominess a couple of weeks ago with Austin Carr (Mavrick Models) in Pasadena, CA. Everyone has been complaining about the weather (myself included), but I simultaneously love it. The clouds create perfect outdoor lighting — the whole city is currently a big soft box.

I've been photographing a lot of living spaces lately -- and absolutely loving it! The last two weeks have taken me to sprawling mansions in Beverly Hills, historic Craftsman gems tucked away in the lush Northeast landscapes of Highland Park, to stunning lofts with views of the city skyline in the heart of downtown Los Angeles.

I wrote back in February about my recent shoot for The Rossi Palm Springs, a boutique hotel in the heart of a desert oasis. It's so wonderful to see my photos gracing their beautiful website. If you're ever looking for an amazing place to escape from the world into a weekend (or week!) of luxury, I cannot recommend a better place to do it than The Rossi.
Last week, I had the pleasure of being hired to photograph the newly renovated suites and grounds of The Rossi Hotel in Palm Springs, California. The hotel -- a boutique resort tucked away on a quiet street just a few blocks from the resort town's bustling downtown area -- was a gorgeous, relaxing paradise. Here are a few of my favorite images from my shoot.
This year was a big one, filled with lots of extreme ups and downs. Photography has always been my rock -- the one thing that keeps me going even in the midst of chaos. I was lucky to get to work with a variety of amazing, supportive, wonderful clients this year -- ranging from huge corporations like Mercedes-Benz of North America, to corporate restaurant chains like Rubio's Coastal Grill and Bibigo Fresh Korean Kitchen, to smaller independent brands like High Ruin, as well as wonderful nonprofits like the Orange County Small Business Development Center as they featured local businesses that are doing awesome things, like Inland Wharf Brewing Company.
I'm genuinely looking forward to 2018 -- wondering about the challenges and inspirations the new year will bring is always my favorite part about New Year's Eve. Here's to the passing of a year full of growth and amazing opportunities; and a toast to whatever wonderful things 2018 has in store.
I'm also sending out all the best to everyone reading this -- may the new year bring you all the challenges and opportunities you need to grow into the person you want to become, to live the life you've imagined. Here's to 2018, and exciting new chapters.
At the end of summer, I was hired by High Ruin to photograph a lifestyle campaign for the launch of their new home decor line, inspired by the Victorian Old West. Their amazingly lovely and inspiring owner, Audrey Richter, rented a gorgeous house in Joshua Tree and we spent an afternoon in the desert creating magic with our absolutely beautiful model, Keziah. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the day. I'll share more soon, because I can't even explain how excited I am to finally be able to share these images with the world.
A few months ago, I was hired by Simplethings, a local independent restaurant chain. Here are a few of my favorite shots from my day spent photographing each of their three locations around Los Angeles.
I was excited to learn that some of the lifestyle images I photographed for the renowned Mercedes-Benz DRIVE Technician Training program have gone live on their website. You can view more about the program and company at the Mercedes-Benz DRIVE website.
