I'm currently in Joshua Tree, California, working on a new photo series. I stopped for coffee early this morning and was excited to learn that one of my images from my recent shoot with model Ariel Thompson is up on Vogue Italia's PhotoVogue. (Makeup by Stephanie Lopez.)

IN THE STUDIO WITH COURTNEY TAYLOR BURNESS

A couple of my favorite images from my shoot a couple weeks back with actress Courtney Taylor Burness. Makeup by Stephanie Lopez.

THE ROSSI PALM SPRINGS

I wrote back in February about my recent shoot for The Rossi Palm Springs, a boutique hotel in the heart of a desert oasis. It's so wonderful to see my photos gracing their beautiful website. If you're ever looking for an amazing place to escape from the world into a weekend (or week!) of luxury, I cannot recommend a better place to do it than The Rossi.

TIME OUT LOS ANGELES

Toward the end of last year, I was hired by Time Out Los Angeles to photograph the interior of La Boucherie, a French-inspired restaurant on the 71st floor of the InterContinental Hotel in downtown Los Angeles. Here are a couple of my favorite images from the shoot.

The Rossi Hotel

Last week, I had the pleasure of being hired to photograph the newly renovated suites and grounds of The Rossi Hotel in Palm Springs, California. The hotel -- a boutique resort tucked away on a quiet street just a few blocks from the resort town's bustling downtown area -- was a gorgeous, relaxing paradise. Here are a few of my favorite images from my shoot.

LOOKING BACK ON 2017

This year was a big one, filled with lots of extreme ups and downs. Photography has always been my rock -- the one thing that keeps me going even in the midst of chaos. I was lucky to get to work with a variety of amazing, supportive, wonderful clients this year -- ranging from huge corporations like Mercedes-Benz of North America, to corporate restaurant chains like Rubio's Coastal Grill and Bibigo Fresh Korean Kitchen, to smaller independent brands like High Ruin, as well as wonderful nonprofits like the Orange County Small Business Development Center as they featured local businesses that are doing awesome things, like Inland Wharf Brewing Company.

I'm genuinely looking forward to 2018 -- wondering about the challenges and inspirations the new year will bring is always my favorite part about New Year's Eve. Here's to the passing of a year full of growth and amazing opportunities; and a toast to whatever wonderful things 2018 has in store.

I'm also sending out all the best to everyone reading this -- may the new year bring you all the challenges and opportunities you need to grow into the person you want to become, to live the life you've imagined. Here's to 2018, and exciting new chapters.

HIGH RUIN

At the end of summer, I was hired by High Ruin to photograph a lifestyle campaign for the launch of their new home decor line, inspired by the Victorian Old West. Their amazingly lovely and inspiring owner, Audrey Richter, rented a gorgeous house in Joshua Tree and we spent an afternoon in the desert creating magic with our absolutely beautiful model, Keziah. Here are a couple of my favorite shots from the day. I'll share more soon, because I can't even explain how excited I am to finally be able to share these images with the world.

SIMPLETHINGS

A few months ago, I was hired by Simplethings, a local independent restaurant chain. Here are a few of my favorite shots from my day spent photographing each of their three locations around Los Angeles.

MARK WALLACE FOR NYLON GUYS
NylonGuysOct2014.jpg

I've been working on archiving all of my published work from the last several years and came across this old photo I shot for Nylon Guys back in 2014. Mark Wallace is the founder and owner of Wallace Detroit Guitars, an amazing boutique guitar company that handcrafts their instruments from reclaimed wood from destroyed houses in Detroit. During out shoot, I got to tour the warehouse space where the reclaimed wood was kept prior to guitar production. It was an incredibly inspiring space deep in the heart of Detroit, and Mark was genuinely passionate about his city and his company. Their slogan, "The sound of the Motor City," says it all.

PRISCILLA FORD FOR LATINA MAGAZINE

Several months ago, I had the pleasure of photographing actress Priscilla Ford for her interview with Latina Magazine. You can read more about Priscilla's projects here.

MERCEDES-BENZ DRIVE CAMPAIGN

I was excited to learn that some of the lifestyle images I photographed for the renowned Mercedes-Benz DRIVE Technician Training program have gone live on their website. You can view more about the program and company at the Mercedes-Benz DRIVE website.
